ABOUT
Nicole Wood holds the position of deputy director of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Functioning as a liaison, she addresses DHS-related issues impacting faith-based and community organizations, focusing on safeguarding places of worship and coordinating outreach for disaster survivors and human trafficking victims. She also provides training on trauma impacts and prevention of exploitation, and addresses underlying causes.
Wood’s extensive background includes leadership roles at World Relief and World Hope International, contributing to anti-human-trafficking efforts and serving as a presidential management fellow at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
